From the forest to the ship, the oak undergoes several transformations and can have several uses not limited simply to naval carpentry. Buildings, joinery, firewood, traditional fish smoking are the multiple activities that you’ll discover.
Climbing aboard the Jean Bart you’ll be able to contemplate and touch 3 centuries of history, and you’ll understand how these majestic 3-masters were built. Admiring the carpenters at work, you’ll be witnessing hundreds of years of knowledge.
